YITH WooCommerce Compare is an extension designed for online stores built with WordPress and WooCommerce that need to offer their customers a clear, fast, and visual way to compare products. It allows placing several items side by side in a complete table where differences in prices, attributes, and key features are immediately visible, without the buyer having to jump between individual product pages and tabs.

This plugin is especially valuable for ecommerce with medium or large catalogs, where choosing between several similar models generates doubts and slows down the purchase decision. With YITH WooCommerce Compare you can activate comparison across your entire catalog or only in specific categories, hide the compare button on specific products, and set the maximum number of items that can be added to the table. You can also restrict comparisons to products in the same category, avoiding tables with items that don't make sense to compare, and even show category filters within the table itself.

The compare button can be displayed as a link, button, or checkbox, both on the shop page and on the product page. When the customer selects a product, a fixed bar appears at the bottom of the page with the chosen items and a direct link to the comparison table, significantly improving the user experience.

The comparison table is fully customizable: you can display it on a dedicated page or in a full-screen modal, choose which product attributes and options are shown and in what order, fix the first column, highlight differences with background colors, replace availability texts with icons, and much more. Additionally, it includes a recommended products section below the table to suggest additional items, and a widget that shows in any sidebar the products the user has added to the comparison.
