wpDiscuz – Private Comments

wpDiscuz Private Comments is an official premium extension of the popular wpDiscuz comment system, developed by the gVectors team. This plugin transforms your WordPress site's comment section into a private and secure communication channel, allowing users to post comments that are only visible to the comment author, site administrators, and optionally, designated moderators.

The tool adds a small button next to the comment submission button to mark a comment as private, as well as a [Private] button on main comments to convert the entire thread to private. This is especially useful for membership sites, communities, support forums, educational blogs, or any platform where users need to communicate confidentially with the site team without publicly exposing sensitive information.

Among its most notable features are the ability to configure which user roles can create private comments, assigning specific moderators to manage these threads, and the option to enable or disable the private feature for certain comment forms and custom content types. Additionally, the plugin sends email notifications to moderators when a new private comment is created, with the ability to customize both the subject and body of the message.

The plugin is fully responsive on all devices and compatible with RTL languages, ensuring a consistent experience for international audiences. Its installation is simple: upload it like any WordPress plugin and configure it from the wpDiscuz settings panel, in the Addons tab. It requires at least version 7.3.0 of wpDiscuz to function correctly.

If you're looking to offer your users a private and controlled communication channel within your posts, without relying on external systems, wpDiscuz Private Comments is the ideal solution to take your community to the next level.
