wpDiscuz – Comment Author Info

wpDiscuz Comment Author Info is a premium extension developed by gVectors that expands the wpDiscuz comment system to display detailed and enriched information about each comment author on your WordPress site. This addon transforms the commenting experience by offering a complete profile of each participant, allowing visitors to better know those who interact in discussions.

The addon works through quick and complete information popups. Hovering over the author's avatar opens a quick view, while clicking on the author's name or the info icon displays a full window with several organized tabs. The Profile tab shows data such as username, nickname, website, biography, last activity date, myCRED badges and rank, as well as detailed statistics of comments, posts, likes, and dislikes received. It also includes a breakdown of approved, pending, spam, and deleted comments.

The Activity tab lists all comments published by the user with AJAX pagination, while the Votes tab shows comments the author has voted on with their respective like and dislike icons. The Subscriptions tab allows viewing and managing all user subscriptions to comments and posts, with the option to cancel subscriptions directly. Additionally, it includes a Following tab to manage followed users.

From the admin panel, the addon offers a wide set of configuration options that allow enabling or disabling each tab, controlling what information is displayed based on user roles, deciding whether guests can view author data, and customizing each profile element independently. All front-end phrases can be translated from the panel settings.
