WCFM – Groups & Staffs is a premium WordPress addon developed by WC Lovers that extends the capabilities of the popular WCFM – Frontend Manager plugin for WooCommerce. It is specifically designed for multi-vendor marketplace administrators who need granular control over their vendors, managers, and store staff.

This addon transforms a standard multi-vendor marketplace into a multi-vendor-type system, allowing vendors to be categorized into groups with customized capabilities and permissions. The administrator gets three new menu items in the WCFM dashboard: Groups, Managers, and Staff. From the Groups section, it is possible to create custom groups, assign vendors, define managers, and configure a completely distinct set of capabilities for each group.

One of the most powerful features is the automatic assignment of groups during registration. When this option is enabled, a group selector is added to the vendor registration form, so each new vendor is automatically assigned to the group they choose. This is especially useful for marketplaces that offer different membership plans or access levels.

The addon also allows managing managers and staff at an individual level. Managers can oversee entire groups of vendors, while staff can be assigned to specific stores. Each level has its own capability controller, allowing fine-grained permissions such as product creation, order management, access to specific categories, or assignment of product types.

Vendors also have the ability to create staff for their own store, making it easier to delegate tasks within each business. Additionally, the administrator can configure the content of notification emails for the creation of new managers and staff.
