PMPRO Add Member From Admin

The Add Member From Admin add-on for Paid Memberships Pro (PMPRO) allows administrators and membership managers to create new members directly from the WordPress dashboard in a single step. Developed by the official Paid Memberships Pro team, this add-on completely simplifies the manual user enrollment process, eliminating the need to create accounts and assign membership levels separately.

With this add-on, the administrator accesses a new page called Add Member under the Memberships menu in the WordPress dashboard. From there, they can fill out a unified form that includes user account details (email, generated or custom password, first name, last name, and role), the desired membership level, expiration date, payment method (cash or check), order total, and additional notes. Upon submitting the form, the system automatically creates the user, assigns the selected membership level, and generates the corresponding order in the orders section.

This add-on is especially useful for membership sites where the owner needs to manually enroll customers, for example, when payment is made offline, by bank transfer, or in person. It is also practical for support teams that manage user enrollments on behalf of customers. Custom fields configured in the site's user registration also appear in this form, allowing for consistency in data collection.

The add-on is designed to work exclusively with the Paid Memberships Pro plugin installed and activated with a valid license. Its installation is simple: it can be done from the Memberships > Add Ons menu or by uploading the ZIP file from the WordPress plugins screen. Once activated, the new member enrollment page is immediately available.

It is important to note that this add-on does not send confirmation emails to the created user, and currently only supports cash or check payments from the admin dashboard. Even so, it represents a valuable tool to streamline daily membership management and maintain full control over the new member enrollment process.
