LoginPress Login Logout Menu

LoginPress Login Logout Menu is a free WordPress plugin developed by the LoginPress team that allows you to add dynamic login and logout links to your website's navigation menus. It is designed for administrators and site owners who want to offer their visitors a seamless and personalized authentication experience without writing code.

This plugin integrates directly with WordPress's native menu system, allowing you to place access links in any menu location, whether in the header, footer, or custom menus. It works intelligently: menu items update automatically based on the user's authentication status. When a visitor is not logged in, they will see options like Log In or Register; once authenticated, those links transform into Log Out, Profile, or User, improving the site's usability and navigation.

Its main features include:

• Dynamic menu items: Log In, Log Out, combined Log In/Log Out, Registration, Profile, and User, which change based on the user's status.
• Custom redirects: allows you to define specific redirect URLs after logging in or out, as well as redirect users to the same page they were on using the %current-page% parameter.
• Shortcode support: allows you to insert login, logout, or combined links into pages, posts, widgets, and sidebars using flexible shortcodes.
• Text and style customization: you can change the text of the login and logout buttons, as well as apply custom CSS classes to adapt the appearance to your design.
• Advanced filters: offers WordPress filters for developers to modify redirect behavior and customize the user avatar HTML.
• Compatibility with the WordPress block editor (Gutenberg) and the drag-and-drop system of the menu editor.

This plugin is ideal for membership sites, online stores, forums, or any WordPress project where users need to access their accounts quickly and easily. As part of the LoginPress ecosystem, it benefits from regular updates, dedicated technical support, and an active user community. Installation is simple: just activate the plugin from the LoginPress panel and add the desired items to the menu from Appearance > Menus.

In summary, LoginPress Login Logout Menu is a practical and lightweight solution that transforms your site's navigation, offering each visitor exactly the options they need based on their session status, improving the overall user experience and account management on your WordPress.
