LearnDash Achievements

LearnDash Achievements is an official gamification add-on designed for educational sites that use LearnDash LMS as their course platform. Its main purpose is to transform the learning experience into a more motivating, visual, and measurable journey, automatically recognizing each student's actions and achievements within your courses.

This add-on allows you to create an unlimited number of custom achievements linked to more than 20 different triggers, both from WordPress and LearnDash. These include actions such as user registration, login, enrollment in a course or group, completing lessons, topics, or full courses, passing or failing quizzes, submitting assignments, achieving a certain score on an exam, and much more. It also incorporates advanced triggers like completing a specific number of courses, accumulating a certain amount of badges or points, or logging in for several consecutive days, which encourages consistency and creates a daily engagement effect.

With LearnDash Achievements, you can award points and/or badges to students when they reach each milestone. The add-on includes 23 pre-designed badge designs so you can set up your achievements in seconds, or upload your own custom images. When a student earns an achievement, a pop-up banner appears on screen with the title, message, and corresponding badge, fully customizable in terms of colors, display time, and orientation.

Additionally, the add-on offers powerful visualization tools: using shortcodes or Gutenberg blocks, you can display the achievements leaderboard ([ld_achievements_leaderboard]) and each user's individual achievements ([ld_my_achievements]) on any page of your site. This allows you to create ranking tables that encourage healthy competition and continuous progress. Administrators and group leaders can view each user's points from the admin panel, and even manually award extra points when they deem it necessary.

One of the most notable features is the ability to allow students to use their achievement points to purchase courses, configurable from each course's settings. This mechanic turns gamification into a real conversion engine, incentivizing participation and rewarding effort with access to premium content.
