GutenBricks

GutenBricks is a WordPress plugin that converts Bricks Builder templates into Gutenberg blocks, allowing design and content teams to work on the same foundation without leaving the native block editor. Developed by Ryan, from WireWP, this plugin is designed for those who build sites with Bricks Builder but need their clients or content editors to work directly from Gutenberg.

GutenBricks' proposal is simple yet powerful: you create a template in Bricks Builder, assign it as a GutenBricks – Block type, and it automatically becomes available as a reusable block within the Gutenberg editor. This eliminates the need for parallel page builders or relying on scattered templates, as all blocks are managed centrally from Bricks and sync in real time with the block editor.

Its standout features include the ability to restrict which elements clients can edit within each block, making it ideal for agencies that deliver sites to end users without technical knowledge. It also offers ACF integration to render dynamic designs and styles, as well as support for loops in recent versions, allowing you to create listings and content repetitions visually.

GutenBricks includes its own page templates, flexible rendering options (including child templates and the use of Bricks' default template), and the ability to group blocks into packages or bundles to better organize project resources. Blocks are synced and can be updated centrally from the Bricks structure, maintaining visual consistency across the entire site.
