GiveWP Tributes

GiveWP Tributes is an official extension of the GiveWP ecosystem that allows donors to make dedicated contributions in honor, memory, or support of a specific person or cause. Designed for non-profit organizations, foundations, churches, and fundraising projects, this tool adds an emotional and personalized layer to every donation, transforming a simple transaction into a meaningful and memorable gesture.

The extension integrates directly into GiveWP donation forms through a fully customizable tribute field or block. Administrators can define unlimited dedication types, such as "In honor of", "In memory of", or "In support of", and display them on the frontend using radio buttons, dropdown lists, or dedicated buttons. Additionally, it is possible to customize the honoree description and override global settings for each individual donation form.

One of the most notable features is the digital eCard system, which automatically notifies the honoree when a donation is made in their name. Administrators can customize the graphics and content of the cards, while donors can add a personal message. The system includes dynamic templates for subject lines, test email sending, and the ability to resend cards with a single click.

For organizations that prefer physical contact, Tributes includes a printable PDF card system, with vertical or horizontal options and support for Letter, A4, A5, and A6 paper sizes. You can specify whether the donor or the administrator handles shipping, and the plugin tracks the status of each card to ensure no honoree is left unnotified.

The plugin also incorporates dedicated reports for tracking tribute donations, managing sent eCards, and exporting lists of donor addresses that requested postal shipping. These reporting and export tools facilitate administrative management and allow you to analyze the performance of tribute campaigns.
