FacetWP Submit Button is an official extension of the FacetWP ecosystem designed for WordPress sites that use advanced faceted filtering. Its main function is to add a submit or apply button that allows the user to control when searches are executed, instead of results updating automatically with each filter selection.

In FacetWP's default behavior, results refresh immediately every time the visitor checks or unchecks an option. In extensive catalogs, directories, or complex listings, this generates multiple consecutive queries, constant reloads, and a browsing experience that can be perceived as slow or erratic. This add-on solves that problem by allowing the user to select all desired filtering options and apply them at once via a dedicated button.

The add-on also offers the possibility to redirect to a separate results page. The selected filter values are transferred from the main page (e.g., the homepage) to a secondary results page, where the filtered content appears with the options already applied.
