Directorist Image Gallery

Directorist Image Gallery is an official extension of the Directorist ecosystem, the powerful directory plugin for WordPress developed by wpWax. This extension transforms your directory listings into professional visual experiences, allowing each business to showcase multiple photos in an elegant, fully responsive gallery. If you manage a directory of restaurants, hotels, real estate, tourism, or any type of business where imagery plays a decisive role, this tool is essential for increasing visitor trust and reducing bounce rates.

With Directorist Image Gallery, listing owners can upload unlimited images directly from the front-end submission form, without needing to access the admin panel. The interface is simple and intuitive: drag and drop, reorder thumbnails, and select the featured image are actions completed in seconds. Each image can be viewed in an elegant full-screen lightbox, allowing visitors to inspect details without leaving the listing page.

The extension offers granular control over visual presentation. Administrators can customize the number of gallery columns, define the width and height of each image, and enable or disable automatic cropping to maintain the original aspect ratio of photos. All of this integrates natively with the Directorist Directory Builder, displaying galleries both on individual listing pages and in archive views.

Additionally, Directorist Image Gallery is compatible with Directorist pricing plans, allowing you to restrict the gallery feature to premium tiers and create an effective monetization strategy. It is a lightweight extension that does not compromise site performance and works immediately without complex configuration, though it offers advanced options for those seeking greater control.
