BuddyPress Auto Join Groups

BuddyPress Auto Join Groups is a plugin developed by BuddyDev that allows WordPress site administrators to automate the addition of members to BuddyPress groups. Instead of manually managing each join request, this plugin creates auto-join lists that assign users to specific groups based on configurable criteria.

The plugin offers two types of auto-join lists. Global lists group all users without any prior conditions, ideal for communities where all members must belong to a base group. Conditional lists, on the other hand, allow you to define rules based on profile data, member type, user roles, and core WordPress fields. For example, you can configure that all users who select a specific country in their profile are automatically added to the group corresponding to that region.

Its standout features include synchronization of existing users, allowing you to apply the lists to members who are already part of the community without waiting for new registrations. The administrator can control when the lists are applied through flexible settings: upon user account activation, registration, profile update, or member type change. It is also compatible with BuddyBoss and registration via Fluent Forms.

The admin interface is intuitive and allows you to create, edit, and manage multiple lists from a centralized panel. Comparison operators include equals, begins with, and ends with, providing precise control over matching conditions. Additionally, the plugin includes an API for programmatic synchronization and support for scheduled tasks (cron), facilitating complete automation of the process.
