Bookly Tasks Add-on is an official extension of the Bookly booking ecosystem that introduces task management directly within the appointment flow. It is designed for service businesses that not only schedule clients but also need to coordinate internal actions before or after each booking: consultations, quotes, follow-ups, deliveries, or verifications. If your team loses details between the Bookly schedule and the real day-to-day work, this add-on gives you back control and traceability.

The main function of the add-on is to allow both administrators and clients to create tasks or appointments without needing to select a specific date and time. This is especially useful for services that require prior review before assigning a time slot, such as consulting, repairs, or quote requests. All created tasks are listed in the Appointments section of the Bookly admin panel, where the team can review them, assign a later date, or mark them as completed when the work is done.

Among its benefits are the creation and management of an unlimited list of tasks, the display of all unscheduled and pending bookings in one place, and the ability to convert tasks into scheduled appointments when availability is available. The add-on also allows configuring email or SMS notifications that are automatically sent when a task is created or marked as completed, keeping both the team and the client informed.

For clients, the extension offers the option to skip the time selection step in the booking form when the service allows it, streamlining the request process.
